We've been busy this past week with landscaping our yard. We've looked forward to doing this for a couple of years now and we finally have the yard and time to do it! We decided to use landscape timbers and mulch instead of pavers and rocks - mainly due to the costs but also because there's nothing better then the smell of wet cedar mulch! Here's some pictures of our progress....there was no landscaping before so I don't really have any before and after pictures.

Another shot of the rock garden - it will have shade plants, large landscape rocks and mulch - maybe a fountain someday!
