Goodnight

We have quite the bedtime routine with Brayden now. We usually play for a little bit in his room, read a book, snuggle or whatever. Brayden drinks his bottle and then lays down in-between Jeremy and me to snuggle for a couple minutes before we say goodnight. Most nights, we say, "ok buddy, mom and dad have to go now" and Brayden will push on our heads to make us lay back down with him. The other night, we did our routine as usual only this time, we had barely laid down and Brayden grabbed Jeremy by the ears and pulled him up to a sitting position. Jeremy asked Brayden what he wanted and Brayden started waving goodbye to him! Sometimes, Brayden just wants mom to lay with him so I then asked him if mom should leave too....and he waved goodbye to me too! He leans over for goodnight kisses and then laid down. I guess he was more tired than we thought! He sure is getting better at telling us what he wants - now if only he had some words instead of pulling on ears!
