Wow, it's been a while since I've posted anything on here. Brayden has been busy growing this past month or so....here's what he's been up to:
- Went potty on the potty! Only once so far but it was amazing to see him so proud of himself!
- More new words...french fries, bacon bits (his two favorite snacks lately!), apple, broke, please, more, candy, M&M, kitty
- He's really been into telling us that things are broken (but they actually aren't). His main attraction with this is our portable steamer (he calls it "fwa"....not sure where that came from). Anyways, he is always telling me that the fwa is broken....then he says that it was Owa (Grandma) who did it. She's been breaking everything at our house - the jump house, candles, Brayden's finger...again, I'm not sure what that's about! The other day when he told me all of this, I said, "what are we going to do about that Owa breaking our stuff?" Brayden then started spanking himself on the butt....Look out Owa...You're in trouble now! Brayden has had very few spankings so I'm not sure what made him think of this. His little mind is just a going with new ideas each day!
- He LOVES our cats and has a new obsession with trying to pick them up and carry them around. They are not so fond of this idea!
- Brayden wants us to ask him who he loves so he can go through his list of names....usually Owa is everyother name that he says.
- We are all a bit stir-crazy and ready for some decent weather so we can be outside!
- He has suddenly gotten taller and figured out how to open the doors so we had to invest in the baby doorknob proofing.
- Favorite toys - the vacuum (the real one - not a toy one), and mom's blow dryer.
- We have all been healthy so far (Thank God!) - really sucking down the vitamin D!
- Brayden continues to refuse to sleep in his bed and only wants to sleep on the floor, behind his bedroom door (with the door shut). At least he is taking good naps and sleeping through the night. He usually tells us "buh bye" right away so that we will leave and he can go lay behind the door. I guess it saves me from having to make his bed everyday :)
